Machine Learning: Capitalizing the Information of Everything to Drive Your Digital Business
CTI IT Infrastructure Summit was conducted for the fourth time on March 8th, 2017 at Ritz Carlton Hotel Pacific Place, South Jakarta after receiving very positive feedback from the previous year’s event. The most anticipated IT infrastructure conference gathered nearly 1,000 attendees, consisting of researchers, policy makers, vendors, practitioners, academics and executives of various business units across Indonesia. The topic for 2017 was “Machine Learning: Capitalizing the Information of Everything to Drive Your Digital Business”, discussing the advanced data analysis trend, including its platform, approach and adoption, to provide guidance and reference for cross industries.
The Conference & Expo demonstrated comprehensive insights and practical applications of Machine Learning as an advanced data analysis technology which can help organizations increase agility and overcome problems, as well as introduced the skills and tools required. CTI IT Infrastructure Summit 2017 had explicitly encouraged business leaders to formulate the best strategies to adopt Machine Learning in every business aspect and leverage new market opportunities.
Digging Deeper in Panel Discussion
Attendees were getting deeper into the topic when a panel discussion titled “How Machine Learning Can Answer Today’s Business Problems” was interactively led by Prof. Richardus Eko Indrajit, Chairman of APTIKOM, to give insights on how industries can utilize Machine Learning to achieve their goals and win the competition in digital era. Managing Director of Grab Indonesia Ridzki Kramadibrata and two other panelists, Executive Director Head of Digibank of DBS Indonesia Leonardo Koesmanto, and COO of DataSpark, part of Singtel Group, Ying Shao Wei, discussed the applications of Machine Learning in their respective organization along with benefits, challenges, and insights to make the journey successful.
Track Sessions with Rich Information and Knowledge
Speakers from world-leading IT brands, namely IBM, FireEye, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Lexmark, Varonis, Dell EMC, Fujitsu, Samsung Electronics, F5, Hitachi Data Systems, DataSpark and Defenxor had delivered valuable studies and knowledge during track sessions offered in the event. Each of the four track sessions with topics regarding IT Security, Cloud, Infrastructure and Mobility, was attended by more than 100 people, who received knowledge and updates of the latest IT trend and innovation, as part of CTI’s commitment in improving service and support to its customers.
iCIO Awards 2017
The 2017 iCIO Awards honored the best Chief Information Officers (CIOs) or Senior IT staff who led their organizations by delivering business value and innovative use of IT in exceptional ways. Celebrated during an exclusive luncheon, the iCIO Awards with the Most Innovative CIO category was given to Iwan Djuniardi, Information and Communication Technology Transformation Director of Tax Directorate General of Finance Ministry. The Most Influential CIO was awarded to Rita Mas’Oen, Director of Operational and Information Technology of PT Bank CIMB Niaga, while Kharim Indra Gupta Siregar, Director of Information Technology of PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Negara (BTPN) was named the Most Intelligent CIO.
